Focus Groups/Workshops/Webinars

Focus group training sessions are offered in small groups to allow for more attention to specific individual needs, questions and instruction for each participant. 

Workshops are offered in a larger classroom style setting and include general subject matter designed for the participant to gain knowledge and understanding of the content discussed. Group discussion with question and answer period will be included.

    Oversight of the health information department and medical records (paper or EHR) is crucial in staying up-to-date with the ever changing healthcare environment.  This course will focus on the basic training needs to understand and complete tasks for a compliant and efficient department.   Participants will be provided with both regulatory and best practices, along with material and resources to enhance the training and to take back to their facility for use.   Although this course is designed for the for the those new to the health information department, it is equally valuable for those who assist or oversee the medical records coordinator.   For more information regarding topics discussed, go to Course Descriptions.


    This course will be presented via Zoom.   There will be a break in the morning and afternoon sessions, along with a 1 hour lunch break.
