Indiana and National Long Term Care Policy & Procedure Manuals

Know the requirements without having to sort through the pages of regulations and interpretive guidelines. Protect your facility with a policy and procedure manual that is specific to the medical record department and includes areas such as thinning, retention, and privacy requirements.

In addition to the policy and procedure sections, the manual includes PowerPoint training presentations directed to all staff on documentation requirements, charting guidelines, and protecting health information. Use it for orientation and training, or for annual HIPAA training.

This up-to-date manual is written by health information professionals with years of experience in the long term care industry. It provides an excellent baseline for developing facility-specific policies and procedures that comply with regulations, and adhere to professional practice standards.
