ABOUT THE AUTHORS Nancy Bensen, RHIA, a co-owner of Med-Rec Systems, is credentialed as a Registered Health Information Administrator. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration at Indiana University. As a Med-Rec Systems consultant since 1996, Nancy provides consulting services in the areas of long term care, ambulatory surgery centers and physicians’ offices. Nancy is a member in good standing with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Linda Wolfe, RHIA, CCS-P, a co-owner of Med-Rec Systems, is credentialed as a Registered Health Information Administrator and a Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-based with the American Health Information Management Association. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration at Indiana University. As a Med-Rec Systems consultant since 1996, Linda provides consulting services in the areas of ambulatory surgery centers and physicians’ offices. She also has experience and knowledge in long term care. Linda is a member in good standing with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
